Simple Wax Carved Rings - 26th October morning

Make a wax carved ring or charm in just 2.5 hours. Held in the well equipped workshop space inside the Nottingham Jewellery School, this is the perfect setting to unleash your creativity. Amber will guide you through the process, and we've got cake and hot drinks to keep you energised. This fun-filled session ensures every creation tells a story! Choose to have your ring or charm cast into brass or sterling silver. Extra casting costs may apply on the day.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Who is this class suitable for?
Makers of any level or ability. No prior experience necessary.
What will I make?
You will make a wax carved ring or charm. You can choose to have your project cast into brass or sterling silver. 
What will I learn?
You will learn how to use wax carving tools to shape, texture, pattern and finish a wax model. 
What is included?
All tools, equipment and wax for the class are provided.  Casting into brass is included in your class fee, if you chosse to have your project cast into sterling silver an extra cost of £2 per gram of metal will be applied (cost is usually between £10 and £35 for silver casts). If you choose to make more than one pece each there will be an additional material charge of £10.
