CLASS DESCRIPTION
Who is this class suitable for?
Total beginners or more experienced makers. Previous experience working with metal clay is not required.
What will I make?
You will make a small fine silver pendant personalized with an initial, and decorated, if you would like with a pattern. You will be able to choose your own design.
What will I learn?
You will learn about the characteristics of silver metal clay and the basic techniques which will enable you to create simple designs. These include rolling, texturing and marking, and finishing, firing and polishing. You will start by practising these techniques using polymer clay and when you feel confident you will apply them to silver metal clay.
What is included?
All tools and equipment are included. A block of polymer clay and 7g of silver metal clay are provided, along with a necklace chain and a jump ring.Extra silver metal clay will be available to buy on the day.
