Copper Embossed Fairy Light Garland - 14th December morning

Find that festive feeling. Enjoy a mince pie, a drop of something mulled and create something special for yourself or a loved one this year. 
 
Join us to decorate your own Christmas fairy lights decorated with copper-embossed ornaments.  This workshop introduces you to embossing – the art of creating a raised relief in metal. Susannah will take you through the straightforward technique of embossing and then you can let your imagination go wild to create your own unique designs.  No experience necessary.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Who is this class suitable for? 
Total beginners or more experienced makers. Previous experience working with copper foil is not required.
What will I make?
You will make a set of copper decorations using the technique of embossing. You can choose to use our templates, or create your own designs to create a set of pretty decorations that can be strung on fairy lights. 
What will I learn?
You will learn the technique of copper embossing – using different surfaces and different tools to create raised reliefs in metal. 
What is included?
All tools, equipment and materials for the class are provided, including a set of battery powered fairy lights.  More copper will be available to buy at the class if desired.
